About this tool
A CSV file opens as a plain list; an Excel file is easier to read and share. Drop one or more CSV files and each becomes a sheet in one .xlsx workbook, with numbers and dates recognised, column widths set to fit, and the heading row in bold and frozen so it stays in view as you scroll. Comma, semicolon and tab separated files are all recognised. Open the result in the Excel editor here to keep working, or download it straight away.

Questions
How do I combine several CSV files into one Excel file?
Drop them all at once. Each CSV becomes its own sheet, named after its file.
Will leading zeros be kept?
Values like 00123 are read as numbers, so the zeros are dropped, as in Excel. Open the result in the Excel editor and format that column as Text if you need them.
Which separators are supported?
Comma, semicolon and tab separated files are all recognised automatically.
