The quick way, on any device

  1. Open Images to PDF and drop your photos (JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC where your browser can open it).
  2. Drag them into the right order, and turn any that are sideways.
  3. Choose the page size (A4, Letter, or each photo's own shape) and how many photos go on a page: 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9.
  4. Press Make PDF. Nothing is uploaded; the PDF is made on your device.

Need captions or a title page? Choose Open in the editor instead, or start from scratch with Create PDF.

Open Images to PDF

On an iPhone, without an app

Save the photos to the Files app first (select them in Photos, tap Share, then Save to Files). In Files, select them, tap the More button (⋯) and choose Create PDF.

On Android

For a single photo, open it in your gallery or Google Photos, choose Print from the menu, and pick Save as PDF as the printer. For several photos in one PDF, Images to PDF in Chrome is simplest.

On Windows

Select the photos in File Explorer, right-click and choose Print (on Windows 11, it's under Show more options). Pick Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer, choose a layout, and print to a file.

On a Mac

Select the photos in Finder and open them together in Preview. Drag them into order in the sidebar, then choose File › Print and, at the bottom left, PDF › Save as PDF.

Tips for a tidy PDF

  • Get the order right first. Dragging in the tool is quickest; numbered file names (01, 02…) help too.
  • A4 for documents, photo shape for pictures. Documents read best on A4 or Letter; photos look best with each page fitted to the photo.
  • Keep it small enough to send. The default quality keeps photos sharp at a fraction of the size, and Compress PDF can shrink it further.
  • Photographing documents? Shoot straight on, in good light, filling the frame, and crop with the Photo editor first if needed.
